Overlooking the majestic Norwegian fjords, Cliff Haven acts as a dialogue between rugged stone cliffs and pure geometric architecture.
The design is conceived as a cantilevered concrete volume extending over the cliff's edge. This dramatic layout minimizes the building footprint while maximizing visual connection to the fjord below. Glass balustrades and floating roof planes enhance the feeling of weightlessness.
The interior design features raw timber paneling and concrete block highlights, introducing warm Scandinavian wood tones to contrast the stone cliffs outside. Heat pumps draw geothermal energy directly from the deep fjord water, achieving net-zero energy operation.
